Hi, my name is Diamond Sharelle! I’m addicted to traveling and one day I hope that it is my full time job. I got my first passport stamp when I was nineteen, but I didn’t leave the country again until I was twenty four years old. I’ve visited fifteen countries so far and my longest trip was 24 days long. After finishing grad school in 2015 I went on a seven day long girls trip with my closest girlfriends to Saint Thomas, a year later a nine day trip to Thailand with a few other close friends. I’ve been hooked since.
Regardless of your time or financial situation there is a will and way to travel the world. Everyone deserves to see the world, embrace different cultures and become a beach bum. One thing I love about traveling is trying new foods, drinks and meeting new people. All of my experiences have taught me that global travel is very rewarding and worth every penny spent. If you haven’t left the country and gotten your passport stamped or it’s been a while, thank me later and just GO. I am also a firm believer in solo traveler, I took my first solo trip at thirty two…seven days of pure bliss in Bali, Indonesia. People thought I was crazy to go on a trip by myself, let alone out of the country but I had the time of my life and the island was breathtaking.
